Well, it seems the karma train blew its whistle at Ricky Williams last night. And, he was apparently too high to hear it, because he got stepped on by a Pittsburgh Steeler in his return from a 22 month...er..."hiatus" from the NFL.

It's too bad, really. I don't have a problem with Ricky smoking the green leaf. Hell, at least he didn't knife somebody, electro-drown (that's right...electrocution and drowning) dogs, "make it rain" in a night club, let his toddler children play with his firearms, or mouth off about how great he is at the very sight of a camera. No, Ricky was a guy who kept to himself, got a little happy on the ganja, and failed an official NFL drug test every now and again.

I don't partake myself, but it's just silly for a culmination of unworldly talent be wasted on such a trivial matter like marijuana. I feel bad for the guy...he gives up something he really loves for something he doesn't mind doing, then gets stepped on and is out for the year with a torn pectoral muscle. I guess maybe a few puffs will make it all feel better. Maybe he can use it medicinally. Get well, soon, Ricky. And, for God's sake, live up to all that talent.
