It's September 2, the Cubs are 1.5 games up in the Central and they continue to win games that logic (and fangraphs) says they shouldn't. So, of course, it's time for a temperature check around the Cubs blog world:

LOHO is writing swooning love notes to Derrek Lee, as only she can. Or would.


Bleed Cubbie Blue has an expletive deleted, while pondering how to deal with this drama for one - or dare say - two more months.

The Goat Riders are channeling Phil Georgeff, meaning Phil Georgeff has been mentioned twice today on the Interweb - doubling his 2007 total.

Hire Jim Essian is stuck pondering Steve Trachsel from Friday, but it's always fun to link over there.

Ivy Chat isn't buying it. Not one bit.

Nutsack is still upset over Wednesday and hasn't pulled himself back to the keyboard.
