OK, Cubs, let's make a deal. If you won't do it for me ... or Bill Murray ... or Eddie Vedder ... or Ronnie Woo-Woo ... or John Cusack ... or even Ron Santo, do it for Harry.

Nothing against Bob or Len, but who wouldn't have loved to hear Harry in the booth the last couple weeks - first the sweep of the Pirates, then the mess in Miami? If he weren't dead already, it may have killed him.

His thoughts on the Brewers implosion the other night were sadly needed, as well.

Harry: I don't like that Ted Toast guy.

Steve: Ned Yost.

Harry: What?

Steve: Ned. Yost. With a Y.

Harry: Hey, Yost spelled backwards is Tsoy!

Steve: Ball four. Leadoff man on again for the Marlins.

Harry: Tsoy. Tsoy. Hey, that kinda sounds Oriental!

Steve: Asian.

Harry: What?

Steve: I think the word now is Asian.

Harry: Hey, do you like Chinese food? I sure do.

Steve: There's a long fly ball into the gap ...

Anyway, I sincerely believe Harry would have enjoyed this team, even with all of the frustrations. So, don't screw it up, and please give him something to enjoy this weekend ... and into October.
