Prince Fielder attacked Manny Parra in the dugout tonight, getting in a good push and a two-handed slap that would make 12-year-old Cindy O'Brien of Winnetka proud. Video here. Clueless Ned responded by sitting on his bottom with that blank look of his and seemed mildly confused about the ruckus that was disrupting his enjoyable Monday evening in Cincinnati. In fact, he quickly sent Prince back onto the field to finish what he had started. After the game, Clueless Ned had this to say: "Eight months a year we're family. At things happen, flare up. But it's between the family, in the family. It's a little bit rude when your neighbor is fighting next door for you to go next door and ask what happened. That's kinda the case here. We handle it ourselves. It's between us, and it's nobody's business what happened. But it wasn't that big a deal." On June 1 of last year, Lou yanked Z and One Nut out of the game after they tussled in the dugout, letting them think about what they had done. It then took a matter of weeks for the Cubs to trade One Nut. Here's guessing they'll look to move Prince in the offseason, in light of his continued churlishness, assedness and fatness. Pictures here and here. After looking at those pictures, I'm reminded that the lesson - as always - is that Prince Fielder is fat.
