Around The Blogs: Cincinnati Reds
Written by wrigleyville

When the Cincinnati Reds last visited Wrigley, Marty Brennaman proved himself to be doddering old fool, not to mention a hypocritical jackass. Anyway, on to the blogs of Cincinnati:

A sweep has the Church of Baseball thinking about "getting back into the race" and wild card. Good one.

Redleg Nation's off-day thread poses the question: "Raise your hand if you think Jerry Hairston is a legitimate leadoff option for 2009. Or do you think he will return to being Jerry Hairston next year?" I will vote the latter, though was surprised to see he is batting a ridiculous .390/.443/.514 in 26 games in the leadoff position. I'm guessing a return to Wrigley will help him remember he is Jerry Hairston.

Chris Sabo's Goggles is home to a very nice No Corey Patterson graphic in the left column. We're amused.

That's enough. Welcome back, Marty, you turd.
