Manny Acta Is Confused By Newspapering

The Washington Nationals manager doesn't seem to understand how newspapers work, in responding to questions about a heated discussion he had with Elijah Dukes: "That's yesterday's news and was for yesterday's paper," Acta said Wednesday before the second game of a series against the Pirates. "That's over with. What happens in Pittsburgh should stay in Pittsburgh. We talked it out after the game. We're cool. We're fine." Actually, yesterday's news is for today's paper - which is a reason newspapers are struggling so, what with the rise of radios, talkies, TVs and this here InterWeb.
