I want to apologize for failing you...all twelve (are we even up to twelve, yet?) of you who so enjoy the TOQotD. However, my reason for not posting this morning was because work took me out of the office at an early hour and I have just had time to sit down and peruse the sports whatnots at 9:00 PM CT. I know, I know...woe is me. I could post today's installment now, but I have a three-way phone conversation with MacPhail and Hendry to get to. We're going to talk about this new kid--Brian Roberts--he's dreamy, especially in royal blue pinstripes. I hope Cincinnati is ready to continue sucking. They're pretty used to it by now, I'd think. However, welcoming the likes of Corey Patterson and Jerry the Lesser to town is not a way to break above .500. Way to go, losers. Okay, kids...you can expect a brand new TOQotD tomorrow morning. I'll see you then.
