Doug Melvin Worries About The Wrong Things

Doug (or is it Bob?) Melvin is a confused man. After inexplicably knowing the four-year win totals of the Cubs and Brewers and claiming the Brewers would win the National League West (if the Brewers played in the National League West, which they don't), he comes up with this doozy: "We get compared with the Cubs a lot. We’ve won only one less game than the Cubs over the last four years. We’ve had three .500 seasons. They’ve had two over the last four years." Dougie apparently believes his sole job is to make the Brewers almost as good as the Cubs. In fact, he is the perfect general manager for a team supported by many fans who are happier about the Cubs' losses than they are disappointed about the Brewers' failures. He should have a job for life. (Thanks to Matt for the tip.)
