Things That Make Me Nervous

The playoffs start in just a few hours, and I'm nervous. Am I alone? So to help me get through this, I've drawn up a list of things that make me nervous going into this series. This isn't intended to bring anyone down, but maybe just by getting this stuff out into the open, it will make them less likely to happen. Sarge's List of Stuff to be Nervous About:
  • Manny Ramirez channeling Will Clark from 19 years ago and completely owning this series.
  • The Cubs' lineup channeling themselves from 1 year ago and combining for 5 hits over the course of the series.
  • All of the 'experts' picking the Cubs to win this series. Um, experts are never wrong. Right?
  • The late start times. I know this won't matter, but I can't help but think it isn't helpful for a team that plays most of its home games during the day to suddenly get an 8:30pm start time for Game 2.
  • Ryan Theriot letting a ball go through his glove.
  • Z's frame of mind
  • Z's frame of shoulder
  • Mark DeRosa's calf
  • Bob Howry
