For Pete's sake, Brewers. I know you hate the Cubs, but can the Northsiders be more gracious neighbors and division loyalists than we've been this weekend?! Would you just win the fricking game already and get into the d*&@ playoffs! Today, we fielded the Iowa Cubs and you played like the West Springfield Little League Cubs. Tomorrow, we're sitting Carlos Zambrano and pitching Angel Guzman (I didn't even realize he was still with the Cubs, much less still playing baseball.) What more can the Cubs do for you? Bunt 27 times? The Cubs are handing you the Wild Card. Take the gift already and get this thing over with. And if you think we're being too panderingly nice, just remember that long before you all joined the NL in Bud's money-making/grubbing move, Cubs fans hated the Mets who were our main rivals in the NL East. Believe it or not, most Cubs fans still hate them more than any team except the Cardinals/Satan's Army..... We don't really hate the Brewers or their fans; you're more like kid brothers to us -- we just like to get under your skin because it's so easy. So yes, most Cubs fans I would presume would rather see the Brewers, another NL Central team, in the playoffs than the stinking Mets. So win tomorrow. Please. We'd start a worse pitcher tomorrow, but you've got Sheets in Milwaukee. Guzman is the best we can do. Good luck!
