The Brewers reliever bought 5,000 tickets to tonight's game to give away to fans. Which raises the question: Was this game not a sellout and he just bought them recently? Or did he buy up 5,000 a long time ago with plans to do this, creating an artificial shortage? I'm guessing the former, as there were only 31,164 at last night's game (for a CC Sabathia start). Brewers baseball - catch the fever! I tried to see if I could buy tickets to the game but kept getting this message, as lots of people try to get free Gagne tickets: We're sorry, we were unable to process your request due to high transaction volumes. Please try to submit your request again. By the way, is it kosher to boo Eric Gagne the night he gives away 5,000 tickets?
