Trying Again: Brewers Fan Makes Another Prediction

A Milwaukee fan says it is "a lock" that the Brewers will make the playoffs, calling the Cubs "the North side losers" in the process. I think his point was to be rude to the Cubs. To be fair, this writer's predictions have been less than accurate. For example, he had written this on July 28 (before the four-game sweep in Milwaukee): "What the Brewers are about to do the next 4 days is show their dominance over the supposed "best team" in the NL. It's going to be a minimum of 3 wins, while most likely a sweep. That's how confident I am. I might not even watch the games. Even though I have tickets to 2 of the games, I might not even go. I might give them to a homeless deaf boy." I'm not sure why he would want to subject a homeless deaf boy to more suffering like that, but whatever. And then there was this on May 1: "Cue up the guitar to Tom Petty's "Free Falling..." Ahem... "The Cubs are freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Fallinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg" This is why the Cubs can never be considered a serious threat. That game right there. Two things are evidently clear on why the Cubs won't win anything of merit. -Kerry Wood somehow is pitching the baseball at the end of games. ... The Cubs score 29 runs in 3 games...and lose 2 out of 3. Enjoy your time at the top Cubs' fans...it's limited." Limited to the end of the season, presumably.
