One of the proof points often used in the Milton-Bradley-is-a-horrible-person/teammate argument was the fact that he is headed to his eighth team in 10 seasons after the Cubs traded him to the Mariners.

But what is the threshold for many teams in many seasons equaling bad person? Four in five? Seven in nine? Eight in 10? Is there a secret formul
What about a player who has played on six teams over seven seasons, including four teams in three seasons. That has to be a giant red flag, right? Something must be wrong with this player, who is good enough to be of demand to multiple teams but just can't seem to stick anywhere.
Then you have a player who has played his nine-season entire career for one franchise. That has to be the sign of a solid humanitarian, right? Right??
Well, the former is Mark DeRosa, who joined his sixth franchise in seven seasons today by signing with the Giants. Yes, Saint Mark of the North Side. A player who singlehandedly carried the Cubs to back-to-back division titles before being exiled to Cleveland - and then to St. Louis. And now to San Francisco.
The latter? One Carlos Zambrano, noted head case of the Chicago Cubs.
