Hendry Hints At Possible Moves

Jim Hendry tells the Associated Press that the Cubs will "see if we can do something before we get to camp" personnel-wise, though - unlike the chatty general manger of the San Diego Padres - doesn't tell the world what that is.

He also seems to understand that the Cubs can't win a playoff game (let alone the World Series) without first making the playoffs:

"You'd better get there first," Hendry said. "It's hard to win 97 games, it's hard to win the division. Our attitude is if you can get in every year, you get in most of the time, sooner or later you are going to knock that door down."

As opposed to knocking meekly and wandering away when nobody answers, hopefully.
