Mark Teahan Doesn't Understand Fantasy Baseball

Mark Teahan did a question-and-answer session with Royals fans on the team's Web site. One fan asked him about playing fantasy baseball: kilsey: Do you play fantasy baseball? And if so, do you try to draft/acquire yourself for that team? Teahen: I don't play fantasy baseball anymore. I used to in high school, but I think there may be a rule against Major League players participating -- but I'm sure my team would be loaded with Royals if I did play. Using my league's head-to-head scoring system, Jose Guillen was the highest scoring Royal batter in 2008 at 92nd among major league hitters, followed by David DeJesus at 93rd - the only two Royals in the top 100. Among pitchers, the top Royals starters were Zack Grienke and Gil Meche at 20th and 21st, respectively. Closer Joakim Soria was the sixth rated reliever.
