The Baltimore Orioles Must Be A Mess

Cameron Smith of something called the Washington Post says the Orioles must act immediately to acquire Rich Hill:

So what will the Orioles have to give up for a guy who, in all likelihood, would start the season as either the team's No. 2 or No. 3 starting pitcher? Not very much. All early reports are that Baltimore can offer some sort of conditional pick that ties which player Chicago gets to Hill's performance next year.

Should the Orioles pull the trigger? Yes, and fast.

Rich Hill was released from his Venezuelan Winter League team but will be the No. 2 or No. 3 starter for the Baltimore Orioles?

Kevin Millar was clearly right when he said:

"Yeah, the bottom line is, obviously, they want to go in a different direction,'' Millar said from his home in Beaumont, Texas. "Now, what that means, I don't know. Are they going to win games this year? No. Obviously we know that going in. You've got to be realistic."

This was after his release, which means Kevin Millar must be really, really bad at the baseball at this point.
