For the umpteen bazillionth time, the Sun-Times joins the Chicago media parade in recounting what a horrible person Milton Bradley is in two separate stories today.

Gordon Wittenmyer, who can't be bothered to follow people on Twitter, repeats all of Bradley's sins against society while noting in the first story:

There hasn't been much to see this spring, in the clubhouse or on the field. Teammate Alfonso Soriano said Bradley likes to joke around, but during the generous periods of media access to the clubhouse, Bradley has seemed quietly intense, busy and more likely to ignore eye contact -- at least with writers -- than start conversations. Maybe he's just not a morning person.

So, Gordon, the worst you have on him this year is he's "quietly intense, busy and more likely to ignore eye contact (with sportswriters)"?

Is there anyone reading this post who would go out of their way to talk to Gordon Wittenmyer while at work? Other than to tell him to stop his damn whining?

The second story, which took the combined efforts of Gordon and Chris De Luca, covers similar ground:

LAS VEGAS -- Milton Bradley isn't the first new Cub to be confronted in Chicago with a past he no longer feels defines him.

Only two years ago, his new manager, Lou Piniella, went through the same thing -- characterized as a temper-flaring, base-throwing maniac who defied the slightly mellowed behavior of a 63-year-old grandfather who had been out of the game for a year.

Again, I ask: When will we get the first story on Milton Bradley that doesn't cover all of this ground?
