Ryan Theriot, Feeling Loose - Or Too Loose?

Ryan Theriot strongly suggests everything was happier and more relaxed after Milton Bradley got suspended:

''We've been doing things [in the clubhouse] the last two weeks of the season that we hadn't done all year, that we did last year and the year before last,'' shortstop Ryan Theriot said. ''It's definitely a different feel. I don't know why that is. I'm not going to sit here and say it's one person's fault. But you start to look at it, and it's kind of like, 'Maybe.' I don't know.''

Well, then. It's good the clubhouse is a warmer, more inviting place for the delicate Cajun flower. The relaxed atmosphere must have paid dividends for him on the field, right?

Well...

He batted .220 with a .326 OBP since the evil Milton was removed from his presence. His RTAOBP, however, was .265 - thanks to being caught stealing three times in four attempts over the last two weeks.

Perhaps he was too relaxed?
