I'm not 100 percent certain, but it appears Paul Sullivan just called Milton Bradley an "idiot" in a public forum:
One idiot gone, one idiot en route. Former leader of Boston's '04 "Idiots" signs minor league deal with Cubs.
The second "idiot" of course refers to Kevin Millar. The first almost certainly refers to Bradley, who left the Cubs last month for Seattle after a rough year in Chicago that included constant sniping from the Chicago media (most notably from Sullivan).

If so, it is a fair question to ask the Tribune sports editor: Is it OK for your beat writers - not columnists, mind you - to call the players they cover "idiots" in public? Does this not remove any semblance of objectivity and ability to cover the games, players and teams fairly?
For Paul Sullivan: Are you calling Milton Bradley an idiot? If not, who did you have in mind? If so, do you believe this is a proper way for a beat reporter to behave in public?
