As you can see, Wrigleyville23 has joined the good people at Bloguin after about a year at MVN. It's good of them to have us.

For those of you new to Wrigleyville23, here's a quick synopsis of the site:

1. WV23 was formed in November 2006, the day Alfonso Soriano signed with the Cubs, as a way to reconnect with the team after I lost interest in 2005-06.

2. We don't do much in the way of game stories (unless something really exciting happens). We do spend a lot of time debunking the conventional wisdom (think Reed Johnson > Alfonso Soriano or some such) and critiquing the Cubs press corps (see Sullivan, Paul and Rogers, Phil).

3. Current favorite Cubs: Carlos Zambrano and Alfonso Soriano, as I like well-paid Latinos, apparently.

4. Favorite all-time Cubs (of my lifetime): Sammy Sosa, Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Carlos Zambrano, Kerry Wood.

For returning readers, there are new features, including:

1. A forum section at the top left and in the menu that allows you to post your own thoughts on the Cubs and the media who cover them. I encourage you to use this often. Note: For some reason, you can't register from the forum section. To comment, please register at the top of the page.

2. Hey, look! A new fancy banner. I like it.

3. Polls, in the right column. Vote often.

4. There are other things, but I haven't figured it all out yet.
