Let's take another look at the intellectual dishonesty of Phil Rogers.

First, Curtis Granderson - a player he has described as "a winning player" and "one of the brightest voices in the game" and "a clubhouse leader."

Then, using one of his very special metrics, Rogers today describes Carlos Lee as someonewho "apparently never checks the standings. If he's bothered that his teams are frequently in last place or near the bottom, it does not show."

In his career, Granderson's teams have finished 4th, 4th, 2nd, 2nd, 5th and 2nd (out of five teams) - that is "in last place or near the bottom" three out of six years (or half the time).

As for Lee? His teams have finished next to last twice in 12 years.

In short, Phil Rogers is full of it.
