it occurred to me last night that the cubs probably have a better chance with soriano on the mound than samardzija at this point.

Look at the bullpen. Just look at it. Yesterday, I was in the HJE SBox and I made two guys feel better about the Cubs by telling them to look up the Astros roster. Well, looking at just the bullpen of this team, I'm equally as depressed as an Astros fan.

Sean Marshall could pitch three innings every day and I'm pretty sure the Cubs will be OK...
