Operation Seans: Phase "Stay in Rotation, Charlie Brown"

Operation Seans is firmly taking hold in the Cubs clubhouse, as Rotoworld is reporting that Sean Gallagher will keep his rotation spot for the forseable future.

The next phase in Operation Seans is Phase "Marquis Disposal," which could happen any day now. We can hope, right?

Lou, I know you read this. You're a good man.

Operation Seans: Phase A

Phase A of Operation Seans, codenamed "Get a Start, Charlie Brown" was a moderate success today.

In 4 1/3 innings of his first major league start (replacing Crazy Z), Sean Gallagher gave up 4 runs. He was moving right along in the fourth with six K's, however things unwound a bit in the fifth with a single and two doubles, with no help from the Artist Formerly Known as Chad Fox who walked in a pair of those runs.

As previously mentioned, the Cubs came back and won the game thanks to Fat Daryle's pink bat.

Now that Operation Seans is seemingly underway, the writers here at Wrigleyville23 can only assume that Lou has made this website his only resource for what us 15% think.

P.S., Happy Mother's day to Momma and Grandmas IAN.

Cubs Make Roster Moves

Sean Marshall is sent to Iowa in favor of Scott Eyre. This is not a good start for Operation Seans.

UPDATE: After posting this, I realized our mascot was bumped down the page and out of sight. That's not good policy, so...
